This book claims that it shows simplified versions of real world designs and this should be well noted. They are oversimplied versions with no explanation how they apply to packaging. This book does more to teach about the very basics of SolidWorks 2007 (now outdated) than anything to do with real life packaging (with the exception of 1 example).

It falls short of explaining any packaging design - which was the main reason for purchasing the book.

This book is certainly not value for money, with far better books by Matt Lombard and others available.
